                                                   QUO VADIS CHIRURGIA?

Dear Fellow Surgeons and Associates, Dear Friends,

My heartfelt welcome to Prague and the 17th Congress of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery.
The Czech Republic is called „the Heart of Europe“ because of easy accessibility, mild weather, political stability, a safe destination and a VERY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY.

Prague as Congress City has very high standards ,offering both historical and modern architecture and a state of the art conference venue.
Prague is known as the golden city of one hundred spires.
As quoted by the the Major of the of City Prague Mr.Pavel Bém,M.D.
„I am convinced, that the Congress will be a success“

The main topic of this Congress will be:

NEW ADVANCES AND ONCOLOGICAL RESULTS IN MINIMAL ACCESS SURGERY“

We look forward to presentations and discusssions on oncological surgery, not only for colorectal surgery, but for gastric, hepatopancreatic and thoracic oncosurgery as well.
In addition the program will cover new technologies such as NOTES and Robotic Surgery.
Czech, Polish and Slovak Societies for Mini invasive Surgery are very close and are eager to join us in this endeavor.

So my dear collegues once again Welcome to Prague and welcome to new challenges of MINIMAL ACCESS IN THE ONCOLOGICAL SURGERY.

Stanislav Czudek
Congress president

P.S. Have you ever visited the Czech Republic? Have you ever been to Prague? Have you ever tasted the original Czech beer? Don’t miss this opportunity!
